So you've gone ahead and put the effort in to pass your Microsoft training and are now fully certified in an area you feel you want to advance your career in (hopefully, anyway) and now you have a multitude of options, what on earth do you do next? Well I'm here to try to simplify your options.

Firstly, congratulations! Getting your certification is not easy and I agree you on your determination and ability, you're about to enter a world where professionals come much easier and the pay ladder is suddenly much faster to climb, so do not worry about being able to make that money you spend back you spent on gaining your certification. I'm going to assume that you already have a job, you need to ask yourself several questions.

a) Do you enjoy your work?

b) Does it pay well?

c) Do you feel valued?

If you answer no to any of the above questions then you should think about leaving, up and down the country (as well as the rest of the world) you will doubtlessly be able to find a company that can offer you more than what you ' re currently getting, although this might mean some inconvenience.

I left my job when I earned my certification and quickly found another company who were more than willing to trade my expertise for a lot more cash and career options than I had before and this may well be the case for yourself, you only have one life so take chances, you're better placed than most.
